Thanksgiving Week Rental

November 2019 - 3547

Available Sunday November 24-Sunday December 1

Our family will be spending Thanksgiving with our Boulder family and our favorite furry friend. While we are gone, we would like to rent out our home to share Nyland with someone who will love being here in this precious community for the holiday.

Our home is a large one bedroom + loft condo that myself and my two teenagers fit in very comfortably. It’s a simple, cozy space with lots of windows, high ceilings upstairs, a wonderful front deck, and filled with an abundance of love. Our home is fully furnished.

Rent: $400 for the week
-Includes the entire condo
-includes kitchen, living room, 1 bedroom, 1 loft, 1 bathroom
-Includes utilities, HOA dues and wifi
-Includes use of common house and 40 acre playground
-No smoking, no pets

Nyland is located on approximately 40 acres, three miles east of Boulder City limits and 35 minutes from downtown Denver and Denver International Airport. The Nyland community has 42 houses, a 6,000 square foot “Common House” with a commercial kitchen, large dining room, workout room, playroom, a craft room and guest rooms, as well as a greenhouse, farm, playground, basketball court, volleyball court, wood shop, community gardens and many other amenities. While at Nyland, you will be welcome to join in on community activities such as community meals, yoga classes, celebrations, land workdays, community meetings, etc. You will also be able to buy fresh, organic veggies from the North Field Farm, which is a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farm on our property.

Nyland is surrounded by undevelopable “Open Space,” with trails and bike paths or lanes leading to Louisville, Lafayette, and Boulder. It has the feel of being in the quiet countryside when only a few miles from Boulder, Denver and the mountains. You can wake up to the sounds of birds chirping, enjoy scenic walks in the surrounding Open Space and watch the sunset over the mountains. If you want a bit more action, it is only a 15-minute drive to downtown Boulder, where you can catch the farmers market, watch the street performers on the Pearl Street Mall or enjoy one of the many great restaurants. The University of Colorado (CU) and Naropa University are also in downtown Boulder. If you like to hike and bike, there are trails and bike paths right out of Nyland's back meadow. By bike, it is only 10-minutes to Alfalfa's natural grocery store or 15 minutes to downtown Louisville with its many wonderful restaurants. A 20-minute drive will bring you to the Chautauqua trailhead where you can hike to the top of Green Mountain or Bear Peak in Boulder's vast Open Space. A 45-minute drive will bring you to Indian Peaks Wilderness. And a 1.5-hour drive will bring you to Rocky Mountain National Park.
